Members of a small Ojibway reserve in northern Manitoba decided to end years of abuse and violence. Hollow Water is home to 450 people, two-thirds of them victims of sexual abuse. Returning to Aboriginal tradition, the community decided to give offenders the chance to face sentencing in a healing circle. A stunning 90 per cent of all who take part admit guilt and take responsibility for their actions.
