Spirit Doctors

Mary and Ed Louie are committed to practices that keep them accountable to the spirit world, their people and Mother Earth. During the filming of this unique documentary, the sound recordist is diagnosed with throat cancer. He chooses to be treated with modern medicine, but he also looks to Mary and Ed for help. The coupledecide to allow Don's doctoring to be recorded in order to teach others. Filmed in the lush interior of British Columbia and the city of Vancouver.
